Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) ensures your practice is running as efficiently as possible and is necessary for an optimal billing cycle. 

 

Intero's CDI services include an on-site CDI specialist that works directly with the facility to conduct a comprehensive review of the departments current documentation processes. Next, the CDI specialist will make recommendations to improve the current system. If necessary, the CDI specialist will train the entire team on new processes and procedures, spend individual time with physicians or others that are having a particularly hard time adapting the new changes. Our CDI specialists are also available to stay on-site for an extended amount of time to ensure adoption of the new processes. The CDI specialist will also make follow-up visits to check on progress and ensure improvements are working for that particular facility.
